NxBizSuccess House Rules
Community Development Resources (CDR) and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) maintains NxBizSuccess.com as a platform for small business participation and networking. NxBizSuccess forums and blogs are owned and offered by CDR and UNL. The forums and blogs are subject to an acceptable use policy, detailed in the House Rules.
When registering to NxBizSuccess.com, users agree to abide by the House Rules governing the operation of the Blogs and bulletin boards.

All users will provide a valid email address, as a verification email is sent upon registration. Users may not post messages until the email address is granted access from the bulletin board administrator. When choosing a username you may not use names that are offensive, that suggest illegal activities or that are meant to imitate other users. Any such names will be blocked from posting on our message boards.
- Users participate at own risk on the bulletin boards, in chat rooms and in e-mail. Users take responsibility for postings under their username and use the information provided on NxBizSuccess at the users own risk.
House Rules
- We value open conversation. We don’t allow obscene, racist or sexually explicit language. Personal attacks/threats to other users, either physically, emotionally/mentally or financially are not permitted. We reserve the right to remove posts that are abusive, hateful, or defame or insult anyone. We take threats, harassment and stalking very seriously. Posts that might be construed as such may be made available to law enforcement officials.
- We value the person. We don’t want individuals involved on the website who impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to, an agent or employee of CDR or UNL or falsely misrepresent affiliation with a person or entity. We reserve the right to protect the offended individual and remove false users.
- We value straight talk and sharing of ideas. We want ask that users promote their own ideas to deliver overall value to the readers. We do not want users to post content that is false or misleading, lacks factual basis or offers guarantees of future performance of any financial instrument. We don’t want users to embed affiliate links and ad programs in posts. We don’t allow spam or unsolicited posting of irrelevant advertisements. Offending posts will be removed.
- We value original thought about real business issues. Posts must comply with standard copyright law and attribute documents and quotes. Posts must comply with all US laws, including but not limited to defamation, libel, improper disclosure of confidential information and theft. Posts will be removed if deemed to violate this rule. The user that created the post will be notified of non-compliance, and asked to edit and re-post with appropriate content.
- We respect the privacy of others. We do not want users to post their own or others’ personal information such as phone numbers, addresses, social security numbers or any other private information. We discourage users from posting such information even about themselves, as we cannot control how that information may be used beyond our message boards. We do encourage users to share relevant business information and/or business experience to help promote their businesses.
CDR and UNL reserve the right to revoke registration of chronic offenders of the policies. Once banned from the bulletin boards, these users will permanently be unable to post messages, respond to threads or actively participate on the boards.
