I just listened to a gentleman from the Tax Institute in Lincoln explain that anybody who wants to start a company can get a $5000 tax credit for 'research.' It's ALSO possible to get tax credits for 'organizational expenses' to create a new company.

This doesn't seem to be common knowledge. Does everyone else know about this?

A forum is an online conversation about something of interest to NxBizSuccess members. The forums are loosely organized into “categories” (which are just labels) such as “finance” or “marketing.” Within those labeled areas, members can start more specific “topics” such as “twittering” or “loans.”

A forum is a place to talk and share ideas by posting messages. So start by posting a reply to a forum and watch the discussion grow with other members of NxBizSuccess. This is a place where members can openly discuss and network real business issues. Please, keep all conversations polite and professional. Don't forget to subscribe to RSS feeds of the forum and you will receive instant notification in your email when a new post has been made to your discussion.

People are insane for social media. What would you do if you were a general manager for a newspaper or TV station at this point? It seems like simply pooh-poohing it is a dated strategy. What if your advertising salespeople decided to use Linked In to find TV advertising prospects? Would that be too wierd or shrewd?

Why are these TV and radio managers so...blank? They seem to have no coherent response to this macro-trend.
